VISUAL ACUITY: OD 1/200. IOP: 8. The posterior chamber intraocular lens is in good position. There is a PVR retinal detachment with a macular pucker. Photos confirm clinical findings.
IMPRESSION:
1. PVR RETINAL DETACHMENT – RIGHT EYE
DISCUSSION: I explained to the patient unfortunately the retina has redetached. His retinal detachment was a little bit atypical. I explained to the patient I am concerned about the macular pucker, also with the vision decreasing just today, I think he should have urgent surgery and I have him scheduled for surgery tomorrow.
