Most viewed - Hypertensive Retinopathy Grade 4 BP 240/130 mmHg 72 year old woman. She was in for a checkup (her friend said she needed an eye checkup-because she was driving funny). She has a very old car that pulls to the left. She notices no visual problem. She can read with her reading glasses and she reads a lot. She does not notice a decline in her vision recently. She has not seen a physician since her kids were born. VA 20/32 OD, 20/50 OS. She has grade 4 htn retinopathy with optic nerve edema and cotton wool spots. The OCT scans show subretinal fluid and macular edema. She was sent to the emergency room.
