Systemic Avastin for Cancer Controls Wet AMD right and better eye - Lamellar Macular hole left eye 85 year old male with recent vision loss in the right and better eye from wet AMD. Left eye has Lamellar Macular Hole. He was treated for 1 year and vision returned to 20/25. He could never go 2 months without treatment. Then, after 18 months of therapy, he developed lung cancer and was placed on systemic avastin. His injections were stopped and his macula has been dry for 8 months with good vision.
