48 year old man: The patient saw the referring doctor 3-4 years ago with high IOP in the right eye. At the time there was a haze and floaters in the right eye. The IOP was 40+ (like it is today). The patient was on frequent drops at the time and that controlled the IOP. The vision returned and the floaters dissipated. The patient noticed new onset vision loss a few weeks ago. You noticed a retinal problem in addition to the high intraocular pressure. The floaters, high IOP and vision has been the right eye both times. On further questioning, he had vision loss in the right eye in 1990, 2017 and 2022 and ate a lot of venison in his youth in upstate NY.
